Every Life Begins With A Song

What is your song...your life's song? Is your song filled with beautiful lyrics? Perhaps your answer is yes. But most of us will encounter many songs during our journey. One day we're walking on sunshine, and the next we're singing the blues. It's OK to have blue days. It's simply called "life." It is how we respond to those blue days that make the difference. Solutions cannot always be found on your own. Sometimes you need a little help. When I lost my niece in June of 2008, I was compelled to find answers. I needed to know what caused a beautiful, funny, educated young woman to feel so badly, that she no longer wanted to live. I then vowed to help someone else. If just one person will read this book, and decide to choose life over death, then I have made a difference. I want to make sure that Syria's song...her life was not lived in vain, and her melody will live on.

This is Joscylan's first published book. She was born in Houston, Texas and has enjoyed writing for many years. Joscylan was forced to end her career of twenty years due to a severe heart condition. It was during that already difficult period that the suffered the lost of her niece, and lost her father just nine months later. Being faced with new challenges, and seeing so vividly the fragility of life, she decided to begin living her passion and true calling. Her life's motto is "Do things while you can, before you desire to do so, and can't." Joscylan now resides in Fresno, Texas and believes this is the beginning of many books to come!
