A great book . . . and I'm not even that big of a reader! ![](/images/icon.star4.gif) (Rating 4 of 5)
I don't read a lot, but of the books I've read, this is a keeper! I loved how I got caught up in the book and found myself reading for hours on end. Jim Walker does a great job, and the book captivated me. I felt like I was there, walking along with Morgan, Margaret, and the others. I told my friends what was happening in the book almost daily, and I'm not really one to do that! This book is almost 500 pages, but it goes by so fast because it is soooo hard to put down. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Spoiler alert!!!) I really like how Morgan realized what he was doing wrong, and that he and Margaret got back together. I was so sad when Hunter was murdered! It shocked me.
This book has a lot of unexpected twists and turns!
Alright, I probably should mention why I only gave it a 4-star rating, huh? Well, I didn't really like the ending. It doesn't exactly fit in with the rest of the story. It's like "Morgan, I'm your mother, and you've lived with me your whole life." and that's it. There's no closure really. I did not like the ending at all! But, the rest of the book was good enough to get 4-stars from me!
Great book! Definitely a must-read! Just don't get upset about how it ends, just be ready for a shocker! & for all of your answers to NOT be answered!
